Petra Frenzel - SAP / EIC
Petra Frenzel is Program Manager Business Network Collaboration at SAP AG and focuses on SAP’s Business to Business product offering. In 2006 she assumed the role of Director General at the Enterprise Interoperability Center (EIC). The Enterprise Interoperability Centre (EIC) is dedicated to enabling Interoperability and driving the standardization of messages into the next generation of aligning cross-organizational business processes with agreed semantics, structure and content of messages as well as transport and communication protocols. Petra previously spent a total of 25 years in the software and services industry. Petra Frenzel is an experienced general manager with particular expertise in information technology, business consulting and IT services management. She has run large software and service organizations comprising more than 15 years at SAP and prior to that has held a range of line management positions in business consulting.
Guðbjörg Björnsdóttir - Icelandic Standards
Guðbjörg is a programme manager at Icelandic Standards since 2001, responsible for the ICT Sector Committee and the coordination of several Technical Committees. She was the marketing manager of the Technological Institute of Iceland 1997 - 2000, now the Innovation Centre of Iceland. In 2001 Guðbjörg was employed by Icelandic Standards to manage IST´s service in the area of UNSPSC product classification and 2002 she became ICT standards programme manager. Guðbjorg has participated in European standards and cooperative projects in the area of eBusiness, e.g. eBiz, CEN eBusiness Standards Focus Group, ETeB, European Network of National Test-beds for eBusiness, eBusiness Community Model – Research and Assessment Project, eBCM-VET, eBusiness Community Model-Vocational Education and Training project. Guðbjörg is currently Iceland´s representative in CEN BT and CEN-CENELEC ICT Forum.
Barbara Gatti - CEN
Barbara Gatti is Programme Manager at CEN, Innovation and Business Development unit, where she is responsible for CEN Workshops and Focus Groups in eBusiness and eHealth. She has 10 years’ experience in European projects, in particular in the field of research, standards and actions for SMEs. She is responsible for project planning and contract negotiation with the European Commission, for the organization of meetings and conferences. She monitors European policies, regulations, projects and international developments related to ICT and standards. Barbara Gatti holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan (Italy) and a MA in European Economic studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).
John Ketchell - CEN
John Ketchell is the CEN Director of Innovation and Business Opportunities. His Department includes responsibilities for CEN Workshops, informal standardization activities suited to fast-moving technologies, experimental activities or new areas of standardization, and innovation – the Workshop process is often used in information and communication technologies (ICT) but also is increasingly linked to research projects. John joined CEN in 1997. Previously, he had been responsible for external coordination of the activities of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and Secretary to the European ICT Standards Board (ICTSB) from its inception. An economist and linguist, John's previously worked in the United Kingdom administration, with a bias towards European Union issues.
Nenad Ivezic – NIST
Nenad ia a member of research staff at the Enterprise Systems Group of the Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Project manager for the NIST B2B Interoperability Testbed and working closely with OASIS TaMIE TC, OAGIS, AIAG, and other standards development organizations on advancement and testing of standards for enterprise supply chain integration.
